We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial and Technical Analyst located at our campus in Temecula, CA. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Business Services, the Financial and Technical Analyst conducts complex financial analysis, planning, and fund management, budget analysis; accounting and administration; systems planning, automation development and administration. This is an advanced journey-level position, and the work assigned requires fully developed accounting skills in several specialized areas including budget, forecasting, and analysis.

1. A Bachelor's degree (*attach transcript) in accounting, finance, public administration, statistics, business administration (or a related area); AND 2. Three (3) years of experience in a professional level administrative or accounting assignment; AND 3. Proficient level experience using word processing systems and spreadsheet software packages, such as Microsoft Office Software Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; AND 4. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff Substitutions for meeting the minimum qualifications of this position are allowed. • Substitutions for the education requirement are allowed up to a maximum of two (2) years Substitutions will be processed as follows: Education: o 24 semester units equates to one (1) year of college level course work; OR One (1) year of professional experience o 48 semester units equates to two (2) years of college level course work; OR An Associate’s degree; OR Two (2) years of professional experience DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. A Master's degree in a related field 2. Experience in or knowledge of higher education operations 3. Prior experience in approaching work and interaction with colleagues and/or students in an equity-minded manner. Ability to promote an inclusive and welcoming work/education environment.
