Vista High School is seeking a full Time or part-time HEAD Track Coach for the 2021-2022 school year. The school is a large comprehensive high school of nearly 2,250 students located six miles from the coast in beautiful north San Diego County. The school's athletic program has a long history of success and is hoping to continue its performance in Cross Country. The Vista High School Track program is: *A member of San Diego County's Avocado League competing against Rancho Buena Vista, Sage Creek, SDA, Carlsbad, and Oceanside high schools. *A complete program including junior varsity and varsity levels of competition. Support & responsibilities for the HEAD Track Coach includes: Extra-duty salary compensation-(one stipend each, Varsity, JV) Fund Raising Practice planning & meet preparation Issuing uniforms and equipment. Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. The position requires the following qualifications: At least three years' experience in coaching high school Track. The ability to establish and maintain a competitive tradition in a climate that supports student success with high student expectations. The desire and ability to compete with area high schools in various CIF competitions including all CIF sanctioned tournaments and playoffs.
