Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the SELPA Director, provide adapted physical education services to special education students in County programs and school districts; prepare lesson plans and instruct individual and group activities; screen and observe students during classroom and physical education activities. Assess students and write appropriate IEP goals and objectives.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Adapted Physical Education and one year of teaching experience preferred; a Physical Education credential and one year of teaching experience will also be considered. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Teaching credential in Adapted Physical Education, valid California driver's license. First Aide and CPR certified.

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters dated within the last 12 months [LETTERS MUST BE DATED]**)
