Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Administrator of Educational Services instruct high school students on the knowledge and skills required for careers relating to sports medicine. Students will learn how to prevent injuries and increase athletic performance. The course is a two-semester sequence approved by the UC for “d” credit

- (3) years of related work experience in the field.
- (1) year of the required experience must be within the last two years.
- Experience as an athletic trainer
- NATA Certified Athletic Trainer Preferred
- Possess be eligible to apply for a Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential.
Note: Teaching Credential: The successful candidate must qualify for or possess a valid Three-Year Preliminary or Five-Year Clear Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Credential including English Second Language Certification. Coastline ROP will assist you in starting the credentialing process.
