On-Call Classified Substitute positions to cover absences of employees, new positions not filled yet or extra help when needed. You will be utilizing the Frontline Absent Management System to obtain jobs.
Requirements / Qualifications
As an On-Call Classified Substitute you can substitute in a variety of positions. For Bus Driver and Auto Driver you must submit a current H6 from the DMV office. Also, if you have a high school diploma or equivalent (not required for substituting), Associates degree or higher, a current CPR/First Aid card, or Food handlers Certificate, or any other certifications, please attach it to your application.
If you need to get a Food Handlers Card, the only Online version Riverside County accepts is: https://riverside.statefoodsafety.com or you can visit one of their area offices. If you have a CPR/FA card attach it to the application. (We require Adult/Child/Infant certification.)

* Crossing Guard - this is normally a one hour position split into 30 minutes in the AM and 30 minutes in the PM. Rate of pay per hour: $14.19.
* Campus Security I - Elementary (Most of these are split shifts - example of time is: 7:30-8:00 and 11:20- 12:50). Rate of pay per hour: $14.19.
* Instructional Assistant - This position covers regular classroom, ASES after school, Incredible Minds Program (SES-tutoring after school). Rate of pay per hour: $16.05.
*Instructional Assistant II - Bilingual. Rate of pay per hour: $16.45.
*Health Instructional Assistant I & II - Assisting special education or moderate to severe students. Rate of pay per hour for HIA I: $16.45 & Rate of pay per hour for HIA II: $17.28.
*Custodian - day/night time hour may vary. Rate of pay per hour: $17.28.
*Grounds Person - 6:00 to 2:30. Rate of pay per hour: $17.28.
*Bus Driver II: Rate of pay per hour: $20.04.
*Auto Driver - Transporting students to and from home to school (May not be in our district) usually a split shift. Rate of pay per hour: $15.66. (required and H6 from DMV)
* Clerical - This position covers all clerical positions: Clerk I rate of pay per hour: $16.05; Clerk III rate of pay per hour: $17.72, Secretary I Rate of pay per hour: $18.16; Secretary II: Rate of pay per hour: $19.55; Secretary IV: Rate of pay per hour: $22.12.
*Library Technician II - Must be willing to volunteer your time until trainer feels that you are competent to run library. Rate of pay per hour: $19.55.
