**SEE FREE BUS DRIVER TRAINING CLASS IN EVENTS, Sept. 13-23, 2021, 8:00am to 11:00am.** Drives a school bus safely over designated routes transporting students to and from school and on special trips.
Requirements / Qualifications
Class A or B California State Driver's License with a (P) Passenger Endorsement, California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus), current Medical Examiner's Certificate, and current first aid certification. Must be able to drive a Type 1 School Bus.
REQUIRES: 12th grade education or its equivalent; one year of experience as a bus driver or completion of a school bus driving program; Hanford Elementary can provide training. California Commercial Driver’s License, Class A or B with a (P) Passenger Endorsement, California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus), current Medical Examiner's Certificate and current first aid certification. Must be able to drive a Type 1 School Bus. Must complete a physical agility test and drug test.
