Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Director- Maintenance and Operations, plan, organize and direct the day-to-day maintenance activities to assure proper, safe and efficient maintenance and repair of District building and facilities; manage the day-to-day grounds-keeping, irrigation and custodial operations of District facilities and grounds; supervise and participate in a variety of alterations, maintenance repairs and construction projects; train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Associate’s degree with major coursework in business administration, operations, landscape maintenance or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Seven years of increasingly responsible maintenance, grounds or operations experience including two years in a supervisory capacity. Any combination of training and/or experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be considered.
