Basic Function: Under close supervision, assist with variety of routine manual, clerical, technical, and/or inventory activities; and assist with miscellaneous other routine activities as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: No experience required. Must be enrolled full-time in high school or college. Depending on assignment, may require possession of a valid Class C driver license. Exempt from Merit System: Student Helpers are full-time high school, or college students employed part-time on an at-will basis and are, therefore, exempt from the Merit System in accordance with Education Code Section 45256. In this status, Student Helpers cannot obtain regular or permanent employment. Student helpers must provide proof of full-time (12 units) student status prior to hire.
