Job Summary
Teachers will support the credit recovery process so that students can make-up D or F grades in classes needed both for graduation and 'a-g' requirements. Depending on enrollment, students who do not need grade remediation but desire supplemental instruction before moving to the next grade level could be placed in specific classes. Using iReady and Mastery Connect data, teachers will focus on essential standards and skills so that students can be better prepared for their next grade level while remediating the below C grade received. TOSAs and the Coordinator of Student Data will support teachers with assessments and data collection and analysis. Teachers will also support social emotional learning as part of their instruction.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School & Learning Center (In-Person or Distance Learning): Grades 9 - 12 - June 14 through July 22, 2021 (two sessions) Required days and hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 12:30pm Total days and hours - 23 days Rates of pay: In-Person: $69.46 hourly rate - minimum of 15 students enrolled in a class $46.31 hourly rate - less than 15 students enrolled in a class $36.37 hourly rate - daily 1/2 hour preparation time (in-person & distance learning) Distance Learning- $46.31 hourly rate The District will make every attempt possible to keep in-person class size to not more than 25 students
