Job Summary

Job Summary

The Chief Development and Communications Officer will join the team at KIPP Northern California during an exciting phase of growth and organizational development. This is a senior leadership role that will partner with the CEO in representing the organization externally, and will oversee our Marketing & Communications, and Development departments. This leader is responsible for ensuring that we are successful in cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a growing and diverse philanthropic funding base in order to achieve our ambitious fundraising goals. They will also ensure that internal and external communications are strategic and impactful and that KIPP’s brand is positioned positively among stakeholders. The Chief Development and Communications Officer will report to the CEO and work from our downtown Oakland offices, with frequent travel to our schools and local communities throughout the Bay Area and Stockton. The role is available immediately.
