The Partnership is a non-profit, in-District partner to LA Unified, not a charter network. As an independent nonprofit organization, the Partnership serves 13,550 students across 20 LA Unified schools in Watts, Boyle Heights and South Los Angeles. The Partnership works within the Los Angeles Unified School District context, which includes honoring all collective bargaining agreements for its teachers and school staff.

Job Summary
The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools seeks a highly effective, transformational urban school leader to drive continued growth and sustain a positive academic culture and safe climate for students and adults at MSTMA. The Principal will be responsible for ensuring that all students have the tools they need to be academically successful, that all members of the community (students, teachers, parents and families) have high expectations for student achievement and conduct, and that academic performance improves continuously for all students. The Principal will have the vision, skills and tools necessary to continue to grow MSTMA’s college completion culture. The Principal will be an experienced, committed, and entrepreneurial school leader who is excited by the challenge of school transformation and who has demonstrated success at dramatically improving student achievement at a high-need school.
