Job Summary
Job Summary
The TERI Learning Academy serves students with developmental disabilities, 8 to 22 years of age. The Learning Academy is specifically designed to provide one-on-one educational and therapeutic programs to students, primarily those with autism, whose behavior precludes their inclusion in public school or other private special education programs. The program includes vocational, academic, daily living skills, and intensive behavioral supports. It is designed to assist students in reintegrating into their home school district or less intensive settings as appropriate, and the staff are highly trained and qualified to serve this unique population. Included in the curriculum is individualized consultation for physical therapy, nursing, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychological services. The Learning Academy students are referred by their home district, which incurs the cost of placement.
Requirements / Qualifications

Credentials Requirements:
- BA/BS in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
- 1 yr. related work experience preferred.
- Acceptable criminal background check and driving history.
- Resume
- AA degree in a SLPA program or it's equivalent
- BA in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders and certification
- or BA in above and 1 yr. related work experience preferred.
