Job Summary
As a part of the Social-Emotional Academic Supports (SEAS) team, the Social Worker will assume the role of a therapeutic mental health clinician providing intervention and tracking progress during individual counseling, group counseling, and parent training for our students with significant mental health needs. They will partner with SEAS classroom staff to support the development of a positive culture, social-emotional learning, positive reinforcement, engagement, and learning. The SEAS team will work together to teach students strategies to stabilize and enhance their functioning so they may return to more traditional classroom settings.

~Two full-time and one 50% position are available. *Credential Requirement* Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential specializing in school social work. Master's Degree desirable REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS 1) Screenshot of CTC showing California Credential 2) Letter of Introduction 3) Resume 4) Three Letter(s) of Recommendation. A minimum of two referencing your work within the last 12 months and a minimum of two supervisor references on your application. 5) Transcripts 6) Copies of any tests taken (e.g. CSET, CBEST, RICA)

SALARY PLACEMENT:
Based on educational units and years of full-time experience. Maximum placement is Class IV, Step 11 (with 10 years experience).
HEALTH BENEFITS:
Based on selected provider, full-time employees receive family medical coverage, employee life and vision, and employee or family dental coverage. Part-time employees receive benefits equal to the % worked.
WORK CALENDAR:
Calendar is 187 work days. All new employees are on a 11-month pay schedule. Returning employees are on a 12-month pay schedule.
