Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Pupil Services, will supervise and oversee a school-based counseling intern program. Responsible for training, monitoring, supervising, and evaluating counseling, social emotional, and welfare and attendance support services provided to students in grades TK-8.
Requirements / Qualifications
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE * Master's Degree from an accredited college or university; * Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling or School Psychology or closely related field; * Experience providing professional development training; * Experience working as a School District Psychologist, School Counselor and/or School Clinical Counselor; * A minimum of three years of highly successful experience working with school age pupils; * Minimum of two years experience in supervising interns. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS One of the following licenses is preferred: Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Associate Social Worker (ACSW) Department of Justice and FBI clearance
