Under the supervision of the Principals, assists in carrying out the school’s academic expectations. As a professional educator Mueller’s Instructional Coach understands and responds to the challenges presented by today’s diverse student population. The Instructional Coach provides proactive leadership to engage all stakeholders in the delivery of programs and services to support the students’ academic achievement, personal and social development. The Instructional Coach works cooperatively with the principals to instruct and coach classroom teachers, provide professional development, and differentiated and focused instructional support strategies to support underachieving students. The Instructional Coach must have evidence of working collaboratively with teachers, and success working effectively with at-risk and underachieving students, along with proven abilities to raise achievement. The Instructional Coach will monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative assessments and assist in planning, implementing, coordinating, developing, evaluating, and supervising the academic intervention program. Mueller represents a diverse community with a population of over 90% students with diverse backgrounds.
