SUMMER SCHOOL 2022
High School Teacher
6 week positions available
Classes in Mathematics, English, Social Studies, Science, Bridge Academy, Credit Recovery, and Boot Camps. Positions will be in person (iAcademy might be available to be taught virtual.) Class hours are 8:30 am-1:55 pm.
Wages
High School summer school teachers will receive current hourly rate based on per diem rate for teaching summer school. Teachers will be paid to attend a one hour orientation meeting, the date of the meeting to be determined.
Qualifications
Current District teachers who hold a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in the specified subject area at the secondary level with an English Language Learner authorization.
Requirements / Qualifications
A valid California credential authorizing teaching English at the high school level. CLAD/English Learner Authorization certification or equivalent is required. Experience teaching in grades 9th-12th, as well as English learners is preferred. Potential teacher will be placed on current K-12 salary schedule based on confirming experience and education per the Culver City Federation of Teachers Salary Schedule. Assignment runs from June 15 - July 22, 4 days a week, 5.5 hours per day. Position may require attendance to a planning meeting(s) prior to the beginning of the assignment.
