Program Assistant V- Children's Center

We are searching for an experienced Program Assistant V- Children's Center at our Lompoc Valley Center facility.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Program Assistant V- Children's Center

 

Allan Hancock College is accepting applications for a temporary position assisting the Children's Center at our Lompoc Valley Center. Anticipated start date May 2021.

 

Work Schedule:

 

Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

 

Hourly Rate:

 

$26.00 per hour

 

Responsibilities

 

• Support the daily functions of the Lompoc Childcare Center

 

• Follow all Community Care Licensing and CCTR/CSPP regulations

 

• Provide quality care and education to young children between 18 months to 5 years of age

 

• Support college student learning by providing a quality learning environment for young children filled with learning opportunities to support growth in all developmental domains

 

• Develop weekly lesson plans for young children and maintain the environment to meet young children's needs

 

• Oversee and meet young children's assessment deadlines

 

• Oversee the children's food program and meet all regulation and documentation requirements

 

*Please submit a current resume and copy of your Site Supervisor Permit

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Qualifications

 

• Site Supervisor Permit through the Commission on Teaching Credentialing

• Good communication and customer service

• A sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of staff and students and to staff and students with disabilities.
