Under general supervision, the Human Resources Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties to support the operations of the Human Resource Services Department; provides general information to the public, and directs visitors to appropriate individuals and locations.
Requirements / Qualifications
The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting to fill a vacancy for a Human Resources Clerk in the Human Resources Division. The Human Resources Clerk responds to inquiries for information from the public and staff members on HR services, events and programs; processes pre-employment documentation for permanent and temporary SDCOE staff, including pre-employment physicals and fingerprinting services; and performs clerical and recordkeeping tasks for various HR functions. The Human Resources Clerk will also distribute department mail and serve as a backup for assigned telephone system functions. The Human Resource Clerk position requires at least one (1) year of office/clerical experience in a professional setting that includes providing customer service and maintaining records. Human Resources and PeopleSoft experience preferred.
