Job Summary
Job Summary
Provides direct academic support services to identified students. Coordinates data collection and analysis. Provides leadership, support, classroom modeling, coaching, and staff development to teachers in areas related to literacy and numeracy development, including assessment. Works effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and assists teachers and principals to increase students’ literacy and numeracy skills. Works effectively with students individually and in small groups, bringing them up to grade level reading and math standards. May serve as administrative designee. This position will be responsible to and evaluated by the School Principal.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Successful candidates will have five years of successful teaching experience. Teaching experience in the primary grades is preferred. Reading Recovery training desirable. Specialized training in Reading/Math intervention programs desired. Bilingual candidates preferred.
