Job Summary Under the general direction of the Superintendent, Chief Business Official, and/or designee, the Maintenance/Grounds II, assists in the construction, repair, and maintenance of District facilities, grounds, systems, and equipment. Inspect, review and evaluate the Districts maintenance, operations, and safety programs functions and activities. Provide technical input concerning complex or unusual maintenance, operations and safety matters. Assist in determining priority of work orders, ordering stock, material, and supplies. During the regular course of work, the Maintenance/Grounds II may have access to sensitive information. It is expected that all employees of the Susanville School District will not release any sensitive information regarding students, parents/guardians, or staff. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Include: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Three of experience in the fundamentals of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds and related trades. • Successful completion of the District approved maintenance exam. • Valid California Driver's License. • Must be insurable by the District’s liability insurance carrier. • Must Obtain (within one year of employment) and maintain valid Department of Pesticide Regulations Qualified Applicator Certification
