Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Director, Migrant Education for SDCOE County Office-North County Regional Educational Center (NCREC). The Senior Director, Migrant Education is responsible for directing assigned programs and services for migrant educational services in the San Diego and Orange county areas (known as Migrant Education Program Region IX); serving as a member of the Student Services & Programs leadership team by providing information and serving as a resource to others; achieving defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines for assigned school districts in assigned counties.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Four (4) years of experience as a Principal or Administrator in an educational setting, including direct supervisory experience; and experience working with under-served and at-risk student population issues and challenges. Migrant Education experience preferred. Master’s degree in Education, Education Administration, or related field. Valid CA Administrative Services Credential Valid CA Teaching Credential Valid CA Driver’s License Evidence of Insurability
