2nd Grade Teacher St. Rose School is located at 633 Vine Avenue, Roseville, CA...www.strose.org St. Rose School is currently seeking a Second Grade Teacher for the 2021-22 school year. A strong emphasis is placed on the Catholic faith and its growth in our students and the students’ progress toward achievement of the Schoolwide Learning Expectations. Completion of the California State and Common Core standards for Second Grade drives the curriculum. In the second grade the students are prepared to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and their First Eucharist. The teacher is entrusted with the students’ social and personal growth, providing the example and guidance that promote the school’s mission. The teacher performs this trust in cooperation with the parents, who are the primary educators of their children, with the assistance of support staff, and under the direction of the school’s administration. The school was established in 1661 and currently employs 30+ faculty and staff with an enrollment, Transitional Kindergarten - 8th grade of 280 students. Class size ranges between 30-35 students per class, one classroom per grade level.
