NORRIS SCHOOL DISTRICT 6940 CALLOWAY DRIVE BAKERSFIELD, CA 93312 JOB OPENING TEACHERS K – 6 Position to begin in the 2021-2022 School Year April 9, 2021 Major Duties and Responsibilities: • Instruct a K-6 class in all areas of curriculum. • Competency in preparing lesson plans and classroom management skills. • Other duties as assigned. • Proficiency in an online learning format Required Qualifications: • Appropriate California Teaching Credential. • Bachelor’s Degree, including coursework required for credential. • Successful student teaching experience. • Teachers new to the district must be authorized by the State of California to teach English Learners.
