Job Summary
The Support Teacher assists teachers through demonstrations, observations and coaching, recommending conferences or workshops for teachers and other appropriate activities that will support the teacher. This assignment may require work beyond your normal work day/hours. Support is provided to all non-tenured teachers and any teacher who voluntarily requests it.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Current status as a permanent contract teacher with SBCSS; • Completed two (2) years of successful teaching experience in an Alternative Education and/or Special Education setting with SBCSS as of June 30, 2021 • Possession of a valid California Clear Education Specialist and or Clear General Education credential; .
