LAUSD is looking for individuals interested in joining our Office of Covid Response Division to assist with the operations of our Health Sites and vaccination efforts. The District is seeking diligent and motivated Health Support Aides to fill upcoming vacancies at all vaccination sites throughout Los Angeles and neighboring cities. About the Role: The current need is for 3-month, temporary assignments, which may be extended up to 6 months. Positions are 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, and are primarily located at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. Some of the core duties include: • Performing health site operational tasks including set-up and break-down of equipment, supply distribution, basic area clean-up, and assisting medical personnel with non-medical tasks. • Assisting medical staff with screening questions and entering data into web-based systems. • Greeting, processing, and directing guests on-site. • Performing temperature checks and wiping tables and chairs after use. Qualifications: Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency. Qualified candidates will be contacted and should be able to report immediately. The ability to speak another language other than English may be required for some positions. Mandatory training is provided prior to beginning assignment at a designated site. *Hired candidates will receive priority for a Covid vaccination and training
