Requirements / Qualifications

CREDENTIAL: - Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - English Learner Authorization EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree including all courses needed to meet requirements. Master’s degree preferred. Must have demonstrated five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience working with K-6th grade students and staff; experience working with staff development, training, and presenting; experience in staff training and curriculum; must have strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to support curricular programs and instruction through integrated lessons and multiple instructional strategies; ability to assist staff in attaining strong student outcomes and coordinating services to meet students’ needs; possess good communication skills. MUST BE PREPARED TO PRESENT A 20 TO 30 MINUTE DEMONSTRATION LESSON DURING INTERVIEW.

Attached credential copy must include DETAILED credential information such as the document number, authorization code and description, issue date, and expiration date. Such copies can be obtained using the link provided to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website through the "Secured Search" option. "SUITABLE FOR FRAMING" VERSIONS AND EXPIRED COPIES OF YOUR CREDENTIAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
