The Chawanakee Unified School District is within a 30-minute drive of Fresno, Madera, and Merced. We are located in Eastern Madera County, extending from the floor of the San Joaquin Valley to the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, including a significant amount of territory in the Sierra National Forest. The district encompasses the communities of North Fork, O’Neals, Tesoro Viejo, and Millerton Preserve. Job Summary
Under supervision of Manager of Food Service, is responsible for assisting in all aspects of site cafeteria, preparation of food following food safety guidelines, assists in maintenance and cleaning of cafeteria. Does related work as required or assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Completion of 12th grade or equivalent. Minimum of two years' experience in the preparation of food. Cleaning, safety and caring for kitchen equipment. Valid California driver's license. Current ServSafe Certification. Upon hire must clear fingerprint scan, submit proof of negative TB and pass pre-employment physical exam.
