About the Employer

Sound Therapies is a locally owned, female-founded company made up of a close-knit team of Speech-Language Pathologists who genuinely love working with school-age students. We partner with public schools across San Diego County, providing in-person therapy and assessments for students from preschool through high school. We’re thoughtful about how we do things, especially when it comes to placement. We don’t just fill openings. We take the time to consider commute, age-group preferences, service delivery style, and overall fit so that both you and your school feel supported and set up for success from the start. We’re looking for clinicians (including CFs!) who are excited to work with students, flexible in their thinking, and invested in growing as professionals. Whether you’re a Clinical Fellow or a seasoned SLP, you’ll be part of a collaborative community of clinicians who are open, supportive, and always willing to share ideas and support one another. For Clinical Fellows, that support is especially intentional, with structured mentorship, regular check-ins, and built-in monthly professional development and CEU opportunities. At Sound Therapies, relationships matter. We prioritize work-life balance in real, practical ways, offer consistent support and professional development, and hold a high standard for quality in our therapy, our documentation, and how we show up for students and school teams. We’re a people-first company, and it shows in how we support our clinicians every day.

Job Summary

We specialize in school-based, speech language pathology. We work with students from PreK through grade 12. We provide speech/language therapy and assessments in public schools throughout San Diego county. Successful candidates are passionate about working with children, are creative, flexible and dedicated to the field. We recruit talented speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and work hard to correctly pair them with public schools in need of speech/language services. Although technically a staffing company, Sound Therapies strives for far more. We believe relationships matter and we know that quality is essential.
