If you are looking for a unique and growing preschool to call home, Kid Ventures Preschool Academy is looking to add to our already amazing staff for 2021. We are seeking talented and passionate Preschool Teachers (toddler - Pre K) who want to be apart of our growing preschool program (hiring for our locations in Liberty Station and 4SRanch/Rancho Bernardo). This is not your traditional preschool opportunity as we also offer an amazingly creative space for children and families to enjoy and also want our teachers to feel like they are a very valued part of our team!
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Meet California Childcare Licensing Requirements for Teachers, Aides and/or Site Supervisor/Director
- Educational background with experience teaching, lesson plans and some administrative experience
- A passion for working with children and families.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness...keeping things structured, consistent and clean is a must when serving children and families
- Responsible and a multi-tasker
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Team player. Willing to help others and someone who works well with others
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Infant/Toddler a Plus (required for toddler teacher position)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership within our facilities and preschool programs (both in a capacity building and hands-on way)
- Provide for the care and safety of children in a loving, nurturing and supportive environment.
- Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and storytelling for both classroom and outside time.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable and respected.
- Ensure that all classroom/outdoor equipment and supplies are in good and safe working order and are used and maintained properly.
- Interact with families, other staff, visitors and guests with friendliness, courtesy and respect
