Job Summary

The Samueli Academy Substitute Teacher has the opportunity to supervise and support students in their classes by following the lessons left by the teacher. Candidates must possess the ability to supervise and care for students from 7th to 12th grade while maintaining a structured, safe and educational environment. Valid 30-Day Substitute Teacher Permit or Valid California Teaching Credential required. Pay rate is $25/hour Knowledge, Skill and Experience Requirements: - Valid 30-Day Substitute Teacher Permit or Valid California Teaching Credential required. - Prior experience working with middle/high school age children. - Must be a minimum of twenty-one years old. - Possess a valid California drivers license and proof of automobile insurance. Position requires DMV clearance. - Must be able to pass a criminal background check, FBI/DOJ fingerprinting, TB test, and drug test.
