POSITION SUMMARY Valley Charter Middle School is seeking assistant teachers (ATs) to support our students for the 2025-2026 school year. ATs will work with classroom teachers and also supervise students during arrival, nutrition, lunch, and dismissal. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 8:00am-2:00pm on Thursdays. Please do not apply if you cannot work those exact hours. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the classroom teacher with activities and lessons. Work with students individually or in small groups. Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and unstructured time (e.g., nutrition, lunch) Assist the teacher by making copies, organizing materials, and preparing for lessons. QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must have a high school diploma and be working on or have completed their Bachelor’s degree.This is a great job for an aspiring teacher.
