ESY SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM DATES: Teacher Dates: -6/17/21 (4 hrs) Mtg -6/18/21 (4 hrs) Prep -6/21/21-7/23/21 Teach -7/23/21 (2hrs) Close -7/5/21 Holiday observed for 7/4 - classified paid holiday per contract; certificated not paid, ESY extended to 7/23 last week to cover 20 days required. Student Attendance Dates: -6/21/21-7/23/21 IMPORTANT INFORMATION: -All interested applicants must complete the ESY application on EdJoin. -Positions are initially open to current OUSD employees and substitutes ONLY. -If a majority of students in a class enroll in ESY, the special education teacher of record will be afforded the first opportunity to teach those ESY students. (The special education teacher must still apply to teach ESY to express their interest in teaching.) -If OUSD does not receive enough applications for anticipated needs, applications will be open to the general public beginning May 3, 2021. -Certificated employees/subs should apply to this posting. Permanent Employees will be given priority for job placement. -Based on enrollment, some positions may not continue throughout the entire ESY schedule.
