Job Summary
Students in grade eleven study the major turning points in American history in the twentieth century to the present. Following a brief review of the nation’s beginnings and the impact of the Enlightenment on U.S. democratic ideals, the students trace the development and practice of the political, economic, and social trends in the United States. The students are challenged with learning, applying, and demonstrating the following intellectual skills: Chronological and Spatial Thinking, Historical Research, Evidence, and Point of View, and Historical Interpretation in conjunction with the content standards. This is a summer school position. Monday - Thursday. 7:30am - 1:00pm. All high school summer school classes will be held in person for our 2022 Summer Session.

Valid California Teaching Credential required

This is a summer program held on the Walnut High School Campus - Walnut, CA. Classes run Monday - Thursday from 7:30am - 1:00pm. It is a 6 week session (24 days). All students are taking the course through our non-profit Dedicated to Learning for enrichment and advancement.
