This independently-owned practice was established in 2017 and provides evaluations and therapy throughout the El Dorado County and greater Sacramento areas. Job Summary

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis, Monday through Friday. A qualified individual will have experience with Autism and is willing to work alongside our other professionals and SLPs/SLPAs to provide therapy at our school-based locations. Opportunities for additional therapy is an option with our early intervention clients and/or private therapy with school-aged clients. Collaborative Team Meetings and Training will be provided. Our team works together as a whole to use children's strengths to support their needs. We are excited to find someone to join our team.

Requirements / Qualifications

SLP Job Responsibilities:

  • Executing specific components of a speech and language program (i.e. treatment planning, therapy, consultation, collaboration, device programming, etc.), as specified in treatment plans
  • Document client performance, including: daily therapy notes, progress notes, IEPs/IFSPs, transition plans, and annual/triennial reports
  • Complete observations, screenings, and assessments of clients, with interpretation and documentation to determine treatment planning
  • Assist with departmental operations (scheduling, record-keeping, safety/maintenance of supplies, billing, and equipment)
  • Support the Lead SLP in research projects, in-service training, public relations programs, and marketing programs
  • Oversee therapy planning for direct therapy session and work with SLPAs to make modifications to therapy plans (dependent upon site)
  • Attend IEP meetings to report on students' progress and review goals/service recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraeducators, OTs, PTs, BCBAs, etc. to assist in implementation of speech/language/social curriculum and students' IEP goals
  • Maintenance of continuing education credits and documentation of certificates as outlined by California State Speech Language Pathology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Assist with clerical duties (i.e. filing, therapy preparation, etc.)
  • Essential Requirements for SLPs:

  • CA state Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow active licensure required
  • ASHA CCCs (Preferred)
  • Experience with Autism (2+ years preferred)
  • Experience with ABA principles and Supervision preferred
  • Ability to drive between school sites, if needed
  • Experience with SEIS online IEP system and Google Drive (preferred, but not necessary)
  • Teletherapy experience (preferred)
  • After date of hire, employees will be provided with additional trainings for mandated reporting, missing children policy, sexual harassment training, etc.
  • Frequent data analysis and report writing is required
