Job Summary
DEFINITION: The Assistant High School Principal serves as support to the Principal and staff in the administration of the high school’s total instructional program, in the development and implementation of school policy, in the general supervision of the campus and school community environment by assuming such responsibilities as may be delegated to them by the Principal. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS: A Bachelor’s degree and California Teaching Credential is required; enrollment in an appropriate administrative service program is required; a Master’s in Education is preferred; must have a valid California driver’s license. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of seven (7) years teaching experience is required; leadership and management experience desirable.
