Job Summary

The job of Child Nutrition Worker/Cook is done for the purpose(s) of supporting the educational process by providing food service activities at assigned location with specific responsibilities for preparing and serving food items to students and/or school personnel; and maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition.

TRANSFER CANDIDATES: All employees of Sanger Unified School District holding the title of Child Nutrition Worker/COOK who request a transfer will be granted a site interview. At least three candidates must be interviewed. If there are less than three qualified transfer requests received, applicants from the current Eligibility List will also be interviewed for a total of at least three candidates. HOW TO APPLY: Written requests to transfer to this position must be submitted to the SUSD Personnel Commission Office, 1905 7th St., Sanger, CA 93657. Transfer forms are available from the Personnel Commission Office, Human Resources, or on the SUSD website. Go to 'HR' > 'Forms' > 'Transfer Request' to complete the form.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate, Driver’s License and evidence of insurability.
