Clayton Valley Charter High School (CVCHS) is a high performing charter high school in Concord, CA. The school opened in 1958 and converted to a charter school starting in the 2012-13 school year. ROLE SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Principal or designee, the Small Group Facilitator substitute monitors a group of up to 14 students and supports their learning.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Takes attendance and documents daily notes.

• Provides assistance to students accessing virtual classes, lessons, and assignments as necessary.

• Implement accommodations and supplemental supports for students as needed.

• Creates a space that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. 

• Maintains confidentiality of information about students and parents

• Maintains a safe and orderly environment. 

• Maintains established routine of the school and classroom procedures in which assigned. 

• Maintains a professional appearance as an example to students. 

• Remains at school the entire school day, unless otherwise instructed to leave by the principal. 

• Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. 

• Maintains reasonable rules of conduct that encourage self-discipline and responsibility. 

• Collaborate with other staff members.

• Communicates effectively with parents when needed. 

• Supervises assigned co-horts in the locations and times designated. 

• Comply with all school regulations and policies at all times.

• Completes other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
