Job Summary
The Mental Health School Counselor will provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for managing the placement of assigned students; providing information and recommendations to parents and students; and assisting in the development of goals and plans for achievement of all students within the Alpha Public Schools network of schools. We are seeking passionate individuals who embody Alpha’s mission, vision and core beliefs- teachers who believe that all students can learn, that our scholars belong in college, and that student growth is a reflection of the teacher’s practice. Alpha is fiercely entrepreneurial and we are focused on supporting our scholars as they grow into self-reliant leaders who will achieve success in their school, college, and career.
Requirements / Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree, required Masters in Counseling related field required (LMFT or LPCC preferred) Counseling License (or in progress) required 3+ years of professional experience
