Requirements / Qualifications

Under general direction of the Dean of Student Services, the Director of Enrollment Services provides support by overseeing the daily operations of the Enrollment Services Office and supervising classified personnel. Major duties include planning and implementing department procedures, training and supervising staff and assigning job duties. Additionally, the incumbent will perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. A Bachelor's degree (attach transcripts); AND 2. Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in research, analysis and/or review in at least one student services program area (Enrollment Services, Counseling, Financial Aid, and/or Student Activities) or in a related field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to meet the performance objectives of the student services program area to which assigned; AND 3. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff DESIRED QUALIFCATIONS: 1. A Master's degree 2. Experience coordinating, supervising or planning in a community college enrollment services office 3. Bilingual preferred 4. Experience with data imaging of records 5. Experience with Datatel Colleague Student Services System or similar system and complex voice response systems 6. Effective oral and written communication skills 7. Demonstrated ability to manage financial resources with a record of fiscal responsibility and accountability 8. Demonstrated advocacy for students and students' needs
