Summary/General Description of Job: Incumbent provides administrative, quality control assurance and clerical support for the Outreach and Admissions contracts; and is responsible for the maintenance of government property; outreach reporting systems, procurement, and quality control of all applicant and transition files. Essential Duties & Job Functions: • Provides overall administrative and clerical support to the OA project staff. • Provides Quality Assurance of Job Corps applicant files before approving and sending to receiving centers and Quality Assurance of OA before approving in the OA JCDC program. • Maintains a data base of all Quality Control systems and procedures required for generating reports. • Assists Department Manager with reports when necessary. • Provides oversight, tracking and reporting of all government property in compliance with the Job Corps Property and Requirements Handbook. • Assists the Department Manager in the development and execution of project staff training to support PRH changes, updates, and compliance. • Provides data collection and coordination of reports and report requirements to/from Regional and Corporate Offices and the Job Corps Data Center. • Performs related work as assigned. Accountable For: • Ability to use common office machinery including copiers, fax machines, and computers. • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and meet deadlines. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operation and procedure manuals. • Ability to develop spreadsheets and run reports from a database. • Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence. • Ability to work professionally with a variety of people and personalities. • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and display ethical behavior. • Ability to meet attendance requirements for the position.
Requirements / Qualifications
-High school diploma and 2-3 years previous administrative and/or quality control experience. • Current, valid California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
