Job Summary

Natomas Unified School District is seeking a Principal for H. Allen Hight Elementary School, an authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme School. In addition to leading the site, the principal will also work closely with the IB district team and with the Middle and High School IB schools. Professional educators who are also knowledgeable about systems for student intervention and support both academically and socially, and who are eager to prepare students to graduate as college and career ready, productive, responsible, and engaged global citizens, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience and Training Guidelines: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities could qualify someone for this position.
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Five years of responsible teaching experience, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility. Training: Equivalent to a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education, education administration, social work or a related field. License or Certificate: Valid California Administrative Services Credential issued by the State of California.
