Are you a nanny or teacher that incorporates the Montessori philosophy into your routine? Are you a passionate educator who loves to work with children of multiple ages? Are you looking for a position to work with children in small groups in a warm home environment? Guidepost at Home may be the perfect position for you! Each situation is different, but in your area the base rate of pay is $14.00 an hour for the Sacramento area and $20.00 for the Bay Area, with an additional $2 an hour per child in the In-Home pod. Families have already matched together and are excited to start meeting with you the week after training. We're looking for enthusiastic, flexible educators who have a Montessori spirit and want to build strong meaningful relationships with the children and families. Our In-Home Educator never goes it alone! You can enjoy on-going professional development, a network of schools and peers, and all benefits of a full time position. Previous Montessori training and experience is not required! This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to work with children from 0-6 years old in the comfort of their home, while simultaneously growing your skills and learning about Montessori education. Each situation is different but children typically range from 2-6 years old. Each home group can have between 2-5 children and you will facilitate daily routines and provide supplemental activities to the distance learning. We're looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable educator with a Montessori spirit, who has the passion for and the experience of working with children ages 2-6 years old. Previous Montessori training and experience is not required! This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to make strong professional connections with the families and children in your care, while simultaneously growing your skills and learning about Montessori education.
