Job Summary

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Cafeteria Supervisor I, participate in maintaining food service facilities at a middle school serving kitchen in a sanitary and orderly condition; assume the duties of the immediate kitchen operator of supervisor in their absence; count money and make change; operate automated sales record-keeping equipment; train and provide work direction to assigned staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: one year experience in quantity food cooking, baking and preparation. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of Food Handler’s Card issued by the County Health Department – Riverside, please include a copy with application.
