Job Summary
An education specialist at Ocean View NPS will have many roles to fill including the following: - case management of 8-12 students throughout the school year (academics/behaviors) - writing/updating individual education plans (IEPs) and attending IEP meetings - open communication with parents/guardians daily - daily expectations of professionalism, punctuality, understanding of situations, etc.
Requirements / Qualifications
Résumé At least three (3) Letters of recommendations (preferably within the past two years). Credential clearance(s) or Highly Qualified Intern Verification for Mild/Moderate. TB Test results (if possible)
California Special Education Credential for Mild/Moderate Small, structured, nurturing setting working with emotionally disturbed (E.D.) 3rd - 12+th grade students and students in the Autism Spectrum. Please include any training verification(s), i.e. CPI, ABA. Also include any Internship Credentials including MFI, MSWI, Substitute Teaching Credential.
