Job Summary
Job Summary
Screen, assess, and provide specialized speech and language services to students who qualify for services as established by State standards Monitor student progress towards goals. Document and collect data on all consultation sessions and maintain student's records. Case manage students with speech and language needs Submit progress reports and provide accurate information leading to a recommendation for the IEP team. Collaborate with the IEP team in the development of IEP components related to Speech and Language services.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience as SLP (minimum 1 year).
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology School Services credential or California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services credential with authorization in Language, Speech, and Hearing.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage and work closely with a wide range of staff members (educators, school administrators, senior management).
- Proficiency with Special Education Information System.
