Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience providing mental health therapy services to school-aged children in a school district, county office of education or or county mental health authority Bilingual Spanish preferred EDUCATION: Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field IN-HOUSE CANDIDATES: Must include the four (4) items listed below to be considered for the position of Behavioral Health Therapist: • Other (One of the following: Valid Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS); or Licensed Clinical Psychologist by California Board of Psychology) • Copy of Transcript (Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field) • Letter of Introduction • Resume ALL OTHER CANDIDATES: Must include the six (6) items listed below to be considered for the position of Behavioral Health Therapist:
- Copy of Transcript (Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field)
- Driver's License Copy (A Current, Valid California Driver license and insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Submit three (3) current letters within the last three (3) months)
- Other (One of the following: Valid Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS); or Licensed Clinical Psychologist by California Board of Psychology)
