Requirements / Qualifications

EdJoin Application. Any combination equivalent to: Completion of an Associate of Arts degree in a computer-related field and pass the Stanislaus County Office of Education written examination for Help Desk Operator. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Please attach a copy of your college/university transcripts. Valid California driver's license. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance. Must be at least 18 years of age.

BASIC FUNCTION: Receives general supervision from the Technology Services and/or Information Systems Department Director. Performs a wide variety of duties and support activities for staff within the County Office departments and in the districts, provides Help Desk technical and computer operator support; performs other related duties as required. May exercise functional and time management coordination with department staff. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Completion of an Associate of Arts degree in a computer-related field and pass the Stanislaus County Office of Education written examination for Help Desk Operator. A minimum of two years of experience providing technical assistance in the use of computer systems, is desirable. BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day. APPLICATION PROCEDURES: Application will not be considered unless completed in full.
