Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. SUSD is the 17th largest school district in California, whereby 38,000 PK-12th grade students come to us to experience an academic journey that leads to high school graduation and success in college, careers, and as actively-engaged community members. Requirements / Qualifications

• Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, or other valid CA teaching credential required • Resume • 3 letters of recommendation, within the last year • Copies of credentials and transcripts • TB Results (within the last 2 years)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS May teach 90 days per school year with: -Completion of 90 semester units of coursework from a regionally accredited four year college or university (unofficial transcripts are accepted; originals required upon hire) -Current enrollment in a four year college (letter of verification required) -Three Letters of recommendation, within the last year -Resume -Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers OR Bachelor’s Degree with transcripts *originals required upon hire -Passing score on the CBEST -Three Letters of Recommendation, within the last year -Resume -Emergency 30-Day Sub Teaching Permit or other valid CA teaching credential
