PERMANENT SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED

The Burlingame School District seeks a Permanent Substitute Teachers. The right candidate will be paid our long-term substitute rate of $190/day and will work every day of the school year, acting as a floating substitute to provide support to our 5 elementary schools and 1 middle school. Permanent substitutes earn sick leave of 1 day for every month worked and also qualify for benefits.
A gift for teaching is a must for this position, as is flexibility, because Permanent Substitutes work with students from TK through 8th grade, general education through special education, moving seamlessly from assignment to assignment. Assignments include all levels of teaching as well as providing special education aide support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Current Driver's License and a vehicle in order to move from site to site.
If you currently have a valid California Teaching Credential or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit:
• Copy of Credential or Permit
• Fingerprints for the District (arranged by Human Resources upon hiring)
• Valid Employment Identification (Current Passport or Current Driver’s License/Social Security Card, for example)
• Current TB Clearance
• Letters of Recommendation, Resume, Letter of Intent
