Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Pupil Personnel, provides educationally related occupational therapy assessments, services, as well as consultation to students with various disabilities in accordance with the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to: graduation from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association and registration by the American Occupational Therapy Association certifying clinical competence as a Registered Occupational Therapist; Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities and in an educational setting is preferred. Must attach Occupational Therapy certification and license. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license needed to drive a vehicle to conduct work; valid CPR and First Aid certification.
